OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
FIBRE-OPTIC MOUNTING (C52117)
This instructions sheet must be read together with the instructions manual supplied with
the projector to be fitted on the fibre-optic mounting.
This accessory can accomodate all the projectors in the Display Line range except for
V.I.P. 250 ALO/ST and S.I.P. 300.
IMPORTANT: Using projectors with a lamp of over 150W, you have to install at least one
mounting accessory for colour filters, in order to protect the optical fibres from overheating and
consquently rapid wearing.
FITTING A PROJECTOR ON THE FIBRE-OPTIC MOUNTING
Fig. 1 - Set the fitting you want to mount on the fibre-optic adapter on a work surface. Extract the
knob (A) and the plain washer (B), then, with the aid of a wrench (12 mm), take out the pin (C)
and the spacer (D), so as to detach the bracket (E) completely from the body of the projector.
Repeat these steps on the other side of the fitting and carefully put the components aside, to be
able to use them again later on.
• V.I.P. length 308 mm (side with 3 threaded holes)
Fig. 2A - Stand the projector on the back of the mounting and push it forwards, until the central
hole (F2) on the side of the projector matches the front hole (G1) in the mounting.
Secure the projector to the mounting by screwing the pin (C) into the hole (F2), matching the
hole (G1), placing, if necesary the bracket (E) in between. Finally, take the hole (F3), matching
the slot (G2), and screw in the knob (A). Repeat these steps on the other side of the fitting.
• V.I.P. length 365 mm (side with 3 threaded holes)
Fig. 2B - Stand the projector on the back of the mounting and push it forwards until the rear hole
(F3) on the side of the projector matches the front hole (G3) in the mounting.
Secure the projector to the mounting by screwing the pin (C) into the hole (F2), matching the
slot (G2), placing, if necesary the bracket (E) in between. Finally, take the hole (F3), matching
the hole (G3), and screw in the knob (A). Repeat these steps on the other side of the fitting.
IMPORTANT: Fittings manufactured before the year 200 only have two holes in the shoulders.
It is possible to install these fittings on the fibre-optic mounting by following these instructions.
• V.I.P. length 308 mm (side with 2 threaded holes)
Fig. 2C - Stand the projector on the back of the mounting and push it forwards until the front hole
(H1) on the side of the projector matches the front hole (G1) in the mounting.
Secure the projector to the mounting by screwing the pin (C) into the hole (H1), matching the
hole (G1), placing, if necesary the bracket (E) in between. Finally, take the hole (H2), matching
the slot (G2), and screw in the knob (A). Repeat these steps on the other side of the fitting.
• V.I.P. length 365 mm (side with 2 threaded holes)
Fig. 2D - Stand the projector on the back of the mounting and push it forwards until the rear hole
(H2) on the side of the projector matches the front hole (G3) in the mounting.
Secure the projector to the mounting by screwing the pin (C) into the hole (H1), matching the
slot (G2), placing, if necesary the bracket (E) in between. Finally, take the hole (H2), matching
the hole (G3), and screw in the knob (A). Repeat these steps on the other side of the fitting.
FIBRE-OPTIC MOUNTING INSTALLATION
The fibre-optic mounting can be installed "on the floor" standing on ruber feet (I) or it can be
installed "on the ceiling" or "on the wall" with the bracket (E) of the projector.
FITTING ACCESSORIES
Fig. 3 - Accessories have to be fitted on the electric rails in the space between the front portion
of the projector and the ring (J) containing the bundle of optical fibres. A single accessory or a
combination of two accessories can be installed in this space.
The following accessories can be installed on their own: C52114, C52136, C52137, C52141,
C52145, C52146, C52150, C52151, C52155, C52156, C52162.
Fig. 4 - In order to combine two accessories you need to install one of them on top of the
electrified rails, with the effects disc turned towards the projector body, pushing it as close as
possible to the back of the fibre-optic mounting. The ring (J) containing the bundle of optical
fibres must penetrate the inside of the accessory, which must be one of the following: C52141,
C52146, C52162.
Fig. 5 - In the space left between the front of the projector and the accessory previously installed,
you can insert a second accessory selected from the ones that can be installed on their own
(listed above).
IMPORTANT: refer to the operating instructions when using the accessory to be fitted.

Fig. 6 - In the specific seat (J), place the terminal of the bundle of optical fibres (K), and lock it
with the two setscrews (L) using the 2,5 mm Allen wrench (code 050005) supplied.

SUPPORT POUR FIBRES OPTIQUES (C52117)
Lire la présente fiche d'instructions en même temps que le manuel d'instructions fourni
avec le projecteur que l'on désire installer sur le support pour fibres optiques.
Sur cet accessoire, il est possible d'installer tous les projecteurs de la famille Display Line, à
l'exception du V.I.P. 250 ALO/ST et du S.I.P. 300.
IMPORTANT: Si on utilise des projecteurs avec une ampoule de puissance supérieure à 150W,
il est obligatoire d'installer au moins un accessoire de support pour filtres couleur, afin de
protéger les fibres optiques contre la surchauffe et donc contre une usure prématurée.
MONTAGE DU PROJECTEUR SUR LE SUPPORT POUR FIBRES OPTIQUES
Fig. 1 - Poser l'appareil que l'on désire monter sur l'adaptateur pour fibres optiques sur un plan
de travail. Extraire la poignée (A) et la rondelle plate (B), puis, à l'aide d'une clé fixe (12 mm),
ôter la tige (C) et l'entretoise (D), de façon à détacher complètement l'étrier (E) du corps du
projecteur.
Exécuter les mêmes opérations sur l'autre côté de l'appareil et ranger soigneusement les
pièces, de façon à pouvoir les réutiliser.

Fig. 2A - Poser le projecteur sur la partie arrière du support et le pousser vers l'avant, jusqu'à
ce que le trou central (F2), situé sur le côté du projecteur, coïncide avec le trou avant (G1) du
support.
Fixer le projecteur au support en vissant la tige (C) dans le trou (F2), qui coïncide avec le trou
(G1). Si besoin est, interposer l'étrier (E). Enfin, visser la poignée (A) dans le trou (F3) qui
coïncide avec la fente (G2). Exécuter les mêmes opérations sur l'autre côté de l'appareil.

que le trou arrière (F3), situé sur le côté du projecteur, coïncide avec le trou arrière (G3) du
support.
Fixer le projecteur au support en vissant la tige (C) dans le trou (F2), qui coïncide avec la fente
(G2). Si besoin est, interposer l'étrier (E). Enfin, visser la poignée (A) dans le trou (F3) qui
coïncide avec le trou (G3). Exécuter les mêmes opérations sur l'autre côté de l'appareil.
IMPORTANT: Sur les appareils fabriqués avant 2000, il n'y a que deux trous sur les
épaulements. Il est possible de monter ces appareils sur le support pour fibres optiques en
suivant la démarche indiquée ci-dessous.

que le trou avant (H1), situé sur le côté du projecteur, coïncide avec le trou avant (G1) du
support.

(G1). Si besoin est, interposer l'étrier (E). Enfin, visser la poignée (A) dans le trou (H2) qui
coïncide avec la fente (G2). Exécuter les mêmes opérations sur l'autre côté de l'appareil.

coïncide avec le trou (G3). Exécuter les mêmes opérations sur l'autre côté de l'appareil.
INSTALLATION DU SUPPORT POUR FIBRES OPTIQUES
Le support pour fibres optiques peut être installé à même le sol, posé sur des petits
caoutchoucs prévus à cet effet (I). Il peut également être fixé au mur ou au plafond, à l'aide de
l'étrier (E) du projecteur.

Fig. 3 - Les accessoires doivent être montés sur les guides électrifiés dans l'espace compris
entre la partie avant du projecteur et l'anneau (J) de retenue du faisceau de fibres optiques.
Dans cet espace, il est possible d'installer un seul accessoire ou une combinaison de deux
accessoires.
Les accessoires pouvant être installés seuls sont les suivants: C52114, C52136, C52137,
C52141, C52145, C52146, C52150, C52151, C52155, C52156, C52162.
Fig. 4 - Pour associer deux accessoires, il faut installer l'un d'entre eux au-dessus des guides
électrifiés, avec le disque effet orienté vers le corps du projecteur et en le poussant le plus
possible vers la partie antérieure du support pour fibres optiques. L'anneau (J) de retenue du
faisceau de fibre optiques doit pénétrer à l'intérieur de l'accessoire, qui doit être obligatoirement
être choisi parmi les trois suivants: C52141, C52146, C52162.
Fig. 5 - Dans l'espace qui reste libre entre la partie frontale du projecteur et l'accessoire
précédemment installé, il est possible d'introduire un deuxième accessoire choisi parmi tous les
accessoires pouvant être installés seuls susmentionnés.
IMPORTANT: Se référer aux instructions pour l'utilisation des accessoires que l'on veut monter.

Fig. 6 - Introduire la prise finale du faisceau de fibres optiques (K) dans le logement prévu à cet
effet (J) et la bloquer avec les deux vis sans tête (L) en se servant de la clé à six pans mâle de
2,5 mm fournie (code 050005).
