Knockout
Locating knockout on E-WFS Series:
1. Loosen (2) Phillips screws on driver door. See Figure 6.
2. Open driver door.
3. Photocontrol knockout is located on either right or left side of
housing, depending on model. See Figure 6.
4. Using a hammer and a punch, remove knockout from side wall of
driver compartment.
5. Pull black and white leads through center grommet on back wall of
driver compartment so splices to photocontrol can be made inside
driver compartment.
6. See Photocontrol Installation section.
7. Push black lead from photocontrol and white lead through holes
in grommet and gasket on back wall of driver compartment to
allow splices to be made to supply leads in junction box or surface
mounting box.

1. Refer to mounting diagrams, Figure 7, for correct fixture series
and drill a 11/16" (17mm) hole in location indicated. Make sure the
photocell will fit properly before drilling.

PHOTOCONTROL INSTALLATION
1. Remove nut from photocell, leave o-ring.
NOTE 1: For 1000W (208-277V) fixtures remove o-ring from
photocell and replace with flat gasket provided. Discard o-ring. See
Figure 8.
NOTE 2: When installing photocontrol on E-WF1L and E-WF2L
accessories, add additional supplied nut and o-ring as shown in
Figure 9.
2. Slide photocell through opening.
3. Thread nut on to threaded nipple of photocontrol and tighten to
ensure waterproof seal.
4. Wire photocontrol according to Figure 10 if wiring phase to neutral
or Figure 11 if wiring phase to phase. In all cases make sure the
photocontrol voltage is rated for the supply voltage.
5. Reinstall any parts removed during the installation of the
photocontrol.
