Use
Use the stick blender to puree fruit,
vegetables, soups and similar. Cut fruit and
vegetables into small pieces before using the
blender to puree them.
Attach the stick blender attachment (3) to
the motor section (2).
Plug the stick blender in and place the
stick blender attachment in the food to be
processed. The container of food must be no
more than 2/3 full, as it may otherwise spill
over.
To achieve the best possible results, the
food must at least cover the end of the stick
blender.
Switch the stick blender on by pressing the
on/off button (1).
As you run the blender, move the end around
in the food.
If you are pureeing leeks, rhubarb or other
fi brous fruit or vegetables, rinse the blade
off at regular intervals. Please note that the
blade must run unhindered at all times.
Remember to switch the power off before
rinsing the blade.

Cleaning and maintenance

Unplug the stick blender prior to cleaning.
Remove the stick blender attachment and
wash in hot soapy water.
Make sure no water gets into it!
Be careful not to cut yourself on the blade.
The motor section can be wiped down using
a well-wrung cloth.
Any discolouration after pureeing foods such
as carrots can usually be removed with a little
vegetable oil on a cloth. The stick blender
should then be cleaned as normal.
