1. Determine the Door Configuration
IMPORTANT! Install the pivot side of the door on the side opposite the showerhead.
If the pivot side of the door is not opposite the showerhead, make sure it swings freely before
installing it.
Determine whether the door will pivot on the right or left side.
Make sure the door can swing freely in the chosen configuration.
2. Mark the Wall Jamb Locations
Be sure to support the door in the middle to prevent it from sliding open and causing damage.
Place the door against a wall and carefully remove all packaging material.
Remove the wall jamb from the expander jambs.
Position a wall jamb against the wall 1/8" (3 mm) to 1/4" (6 mm) from the outside edge of the
shower floor ledge.
Use a level to plumb the wall jamb.
Mark the three hole locations.
Use a pencil to mark the location of the front edge of the wall jamb.
NOTE: When installing on ceramic tile, use a center punch to nick the surface of the glaze. Tap the center
punch lightly with a hammer to avoid cracking the tile.
Lightly center punch the hole locations.
Drill a 3/16" hole at each mark. Use a masonry bit for ceramic tile.
Thoroughly clean the shower floor ledge and wall.
Insert plastic anchors in each hole.
Repeat the procedure with the other wall jamb.
