When both sandstone side panels have been
fitted, place the 4 small dowels in the holes in
the top of the sandstone sides. Then position
the top plate carefully on the dowels so it will
rest on the soapstone sides.
If the stove has a rearward smoke outlet, place
the 3 spacers provided on the cast cover which
is fixed to the top of the firebox of the stove.
Finally, lay the sandstone plug into the hole
so that it rests on the 3 spacers (see sketch).
If the stove has an upwards smoke outlet, the
sandstone plug is not needed.
