1. PURPOSE OF THE MANUAL
This manual was drawn up by the manufacturer and is integral part of the product.
The strict observance of the instructions of this manual grants safety conditions as well as efficient operation and a
long life to the product.
Read carefully the Instruction Manual before any operations.
The present instructions are only relevant to the installation of the internal manual lock release system
With regards the automation mechanism, please consult the mechanical and electrical instructions
manual.
2. GENERAL SAFETY WARNINGS
Carefully read the instructions before starting to install the product.
Do not use the product for purposes other than those envisaged by the manufacturer or for any improper use.
Do not tamper with or modify the product.
Only specialised technicians, trained to do the job, should install the product and carrying out the periodic checks
and any maintenance.
We recommend strictly observing the national regulations on safety at work on site (in Italy Legislative Decree 528/99
coordinated with Legislative Decree 494/96 "Implementation of Directive 92/57/EEC concerning the minimum rules and
regulations on health and safety at work to be observed when working on temporary or mobile sites").
At the end of the work the installer must check the installation is done correctly and the automation
works properly.
3. FIELD OF APPLICATION OF THE KIT SME/I
The internal manual lock release system
doors with one or two horizontal sliding doors only, intended for civil, public or industrial use; in dry
environments; in covered entrance zones and foot traffic passageways.

5. MOUNTING ON EB2 (FIG. 1)
Fix the Lever (1) on the mounting Plate (P) of the electro-lock by means of the screw (v.1) and the
corresponding flanged washer (v.2), positioning it as exemplified in the illustration and placing the spacer
between the lever and the plate (see fig.1).
The screw (v.1) must be inserted from the rear side of the plate (see fig.1).
Make sure that the lever is free to swing and that it does not disturb in any way the normal operation of the
electro-lock.
Secure the 2 L-shaped Small plates (3 and 4) on the plate (P) in the exact position indicated in the figure
(insert the screws from the rear side of the plate) by menas of screws (v.3) and the relevant nuts (v.4).
Hook the Spring (5) to the hole (f.1) in the small plate (3) as well as to the hole (f.2) in the lever.
Position the Pre-mounted release support (6) at one end of the profile or however out of the motor and
belt space (fig.2) and secure it to the profile by means of the small plate (14) and the screw (15).
Note: for the correct positioning also refer to fi g. 3 or 4.
At this point, position the Sheath (7) (avoiding acute angles and too many curves) until it reaches the small
plate (4) and secure it duly to the inner part of the profile in such a way as to avoid it coming into contact
with any moving part.
If necessary, cut the sheath to measure.
Insert the Cable (8) in the release lever (1), then pass it through the small plate (4) and the bush (9) and
subsequently into the sheath up to the support (6).
Pass the cable through the Cable regulator (10) then through the hole of the release pin (11).
At this point regulate the tension of the cable and fasten the screw (12) of the release pin.
6. CHECKS AND OPERATION
After having mounted the mechanism, test the operation of the release system repeatedly by pulling
energetically the red release knob (13).
If necessary, check the play by means of the cable regulator (10).
CAUTION
! The manual release must not be used when the mains or battery power supply is ON.
Incorrect use will permanently damage the electric lock.
