3. Machine-specific Safety Warnings

Compressors are shipped without oil. Upon
receiving the air compressor can be a bit of oil
in the pump. This is due to factory testing and
does not mean that the pump oil. Do not attempt to
operate this air compressor without having added oil
to the crankcase. Serious damage may occur, even
with limited operation, if not full of oil and not seating
properly. Be sure to carefully follow the procedures
for the initial startup
(COM6 / COM24 / COM50).
When using the equipment, a few safety
precautions must be observed to avoid
injuries and damage. Please read the complete
operating manual with due care.
Keep this manual in a safe place, so that the
information is available at all times. If you give
the equipment to any other person, give them
these operating instructions as well. We
cannot accept any liability for damage or
accidents which arise due to a failure to follow these
instructions and the safety instructions.

3.1. Placing or fixing the tool

The machine must be on a level, put the wheels
and legs, before filling oil. The stability of the
equipment is important when checking the oil
level for the proper functioning.
1. The compressor may only be used in suitable rooms
(with good ventilation and an ambient temperature from
+5°C to +40°C). There must be no dust, acids, vapors,
explosive gases or inflammable gases in the room.
2. The compressor is designed to be used in dry rooms. It
is prohibited to use the compressor in areas where work
is conducted with sprayed water.
3. Make sure the intake air is dry and dustfree.
4. The compressor should be set up near the working
consumer.
5. Do not set up the compressor in damp or wet rooms.

3.2. Assembling

You must fully assemble the appliance before
using it for the first time.
Fitting the wheels or rubber legs
Fit the supplied wheels or legs as shown.
Fitting the supporting foot
Fit the supplied rubber stopper as shown.
Fitting the air filter aspiration
Remove all the transportation stops with a screwdriver or
similar and fasten the air filter 1 securely to the appliance
with the screws.
Replacing the oil sealing plug
Remove the transportation cover from the oil filler
opening with a screwdriver and insert the supplied
sealing plug 12 into the oil filler opening.

3.3. Electrical Connection

The compressor is equipped with a mains cable with
shock-proof plug. This can be connected to any 230V ~
50Hz shock-proof socket which is protected by a 16 A
fuse. Before you use the machine, make sure that the
mains voltage complies with the specifications on the
rating plate. Long supply cables, extensions, cable reels
etc. cause a drop in voltage and can impede motor start-
up. In the case of low temperatures below +5°C, motor
start-up is jeopardized as a result of stiffness.

directions vertical and inclined to 15°.
Pull the mains plug out of the socket and
ventilate the appliance and all connected
pneumatic tools. Switch off the compressor and
make sure that it is secured in such a way that it
