Firmware Update

The firmware update of the BTDataKey is carried out by means of the smart-
phone and the BTDataKey app. The information concerning this operation are
reported on the tutorial which can be downloaded from the "About" window of
the app.

BTDataKey App

Coges BTDataKey app is a service tool for managing the
BTDataKey. It permits the firmware update, the encod-
ing of the operator code (oo of the IR security code) and
permits the data recording in the two modes foreseen:
see "Contactless Mode (CL)" for Coges E.C.S. Systems
equipped with Key Reader and see "IR Mode" for the
payment systems equipped with IR port.
To use the app in IR mode it is necessary to enter the
Settings menu item, enter the access password and
configure the IR security code.
