Place spindles back into Upper Latches and when spindles are
secure in Upper Latches on both sides, rotate Upper Latch down 90
degrees and lock into place (Figure P).
Tighten nuts on each spindle against the gate using Wrench
supplied (Figures Q & R).
Gate may be removed from latches by pulling tab on Upper Latch and rotating
Upper Latch. Gate can be rotated out of Upper Latch and then the spindles can be
adjusted. Make sure the gate assembly is securely locked into the Upper and Lower
Latches by tightening the nut against the panel using the supplied Wrench.
To open gate door, slide trigger back and lift door
panel up to swing door open in either direction (Figure T).
To close door, lift Door Panel up and align over
trigger tab and push panel down to click and lock into
place (Figure U). Be sure foot at the bottom of the Door
Panel is securely over bottom rail (Figure V).
Pull on the lower tab on the Upper Latches, and rotate
until top spindle can be pulled out of the Upper Latches.
Lift the gate out of the Lower Latches (Figures W, X & Y).
1. Regularly check spindle lock nuts to make sure the gate is securely in place.
2. Do not use the gate if any components are damaged or missing.
3. Wipe surface with a damp cloth or sponge using mild detergent
and warm water.
