Dear Customer,
thanks for choosing Opera Bit, the new access control system for hotels, totally designed and
produced in Italy by Alban Giacomo Spa.
Opera Bit allows the doors to be closed with the maximum security and controlled with the
highest flexibility.
Alban Giacomo Spa gives you a high-technology product. In order to allow a correct operation
of the system, please read carefully and follow some important rules defined here below.

• wrong installations;
• wrong machines power;
• wrong installation by third parts;
• alteration of the components provided by Alban Giacomo Spa;
• wrong maintenance by third parts.
1. Cards
Activation Card for the installation start up, with 3 functions:
• Initialization of locks using the password.
• Doors opening in case of emergency.
• Creation of the Guest and Operator Cards.
Reset Card to be used to cancel the Guest and Operator Cards.
Hold-Open Card for the permanent opening of locks (hold open device).
HOLD-OPEN CARD The card is provided on request.
The Neutral Card can be programmed as:
2. Cards loss
Activation card, Reset card and Hold-open card
The loss of one of these cards allows unauthorized people to damage
the plant or the guests privacy and security. Please keep these cards in
a safety place.
In case of loss:
- contact with AGB to reset the password of all the locks;
- order a new kit for installing the locks again;
- replace all the Operator/Guest cards.
HOLD-OPEN CARD
Guest card or Operator card
To avoid the entry of unauthorized people to the rooms:
- recognise the lock where the card was authorized;
- cancel the list of the Card (only for Guest or Operator cards);
- activate a new Guest/Operator card.
• Guest Card (to be given to the Guest to enter the room).
• Operator Card (for the hotel staff).
