TAKing CARe OF The AppliAnCe
CAUTiOn!
- Before cleaning the appliance, switch it off and let it cool
down.
- In the case of electrical equipment, operate the isolator
switch to cut off the power supply.
Cleaning the appliance thoroughly every day will keep it in
perfect working order and make it last longer.
The steel surfaces should be cleaned with liquid dish soap
diluted in hot water using a soft cloth; for the more stubborn
stains, use ethyl alcohol, acetone or other non-halogen-
ated solvent; do not use abrasive powder detergents or
corrosive substances such as hydrochloric / muriatic or
sulphuric acid. The use of acids may compromise the
functionality and safety of the appliance.
Do not use brushes, steel wool or abrasive disks made of
other metals or alloys that may produce rust spots by con-
tamination.
For the same reason, avoid touching the appliance with iron
objects. Be careful with stainless steel brushes or wool that,
even though not contaminating the surfaces, may cause
scratches.
If the appliance is extremely dirty, do not use emery or
sand paper but use a synthetic sponge instead, such as
Scotchbrite.
Do not use silver-polishing substances either, and be careful
of hydrochloric or sulphuric acid vapours coming from other
cleaning processes, such as washing the floors.
Do not point jets of water at the appliance as this could
damage it.
After cleaning the appliance, rinse it thoroughly with clean
water and dry it carefully with a cloth.

All maintenance work must be carried out by qualified per-
sonnel only. Have the appliance checked at least once a year;
we strongly recommend that you stipulate a servicing and
maintenance contract with your supplier.
Replacement of the electric oven heating elements
Operate the isolator switch upstream from the appliance so
as to disconnect the appliance from the mains.
In the FE oven, the bottom heating elements are located
under the floor and the top ones are fixed to the roof of the
cooking chamber.
In the FE1 oven, the heating element is fixed behind the fan
on the rear wall of the cooking chamber.
To remove the heating elements, unscrew the screws fixing
them and be careful not to pull the connection leads.
Use a screwdriver to disconnect the connection leads, and
