Safety information
Smoke alarms serve for early
warning of smoke and fires
to ensure suitable reaction to
hazards.
Smoke alarms do not
1
prevent or extinguish any fires.
This smoke alarm reliably detects
both smouldering fires and open
fires with smoke development at
an early stage. If smoke is detect-
ed, this is indicated at the smoke
alarm by means of a loud acoustic
alarm signal and visually by a flash-
ing red indicator.
The manufacturer and distributor do not assume any liability for effort or costs due to notification of emergency assistance
1
bodies like safety or fire services.
Make sure that a sufficient number
of smoke alarms are installed. Only
this way, seamless monitoring and
maximum safety can be achieved
(see installation location/project
planning).
The smoke alarm must not be
painted, and the smoke inlet must
not be covered.
To ensure proper operation and
function of the smoke alarm, the
smoke alarm must be properly
installed, and all maintenance
and care instructions must be
observed.
