clearance for a top head discharge

TO HALDEX
CHANGEOVER MATERIALS THAT
MUST BE SUPPLIED:
1.
If top discharge - supply SN3711J manifold kit.
2.
If top head clearance is a problem - supply
SN3711K or L low profile discharge manifold kit.
3.
Possibly need 1/2" to 3/8" water port reducers.
4.
If replacement is changed to naturally aspirated
- supply plug to plug the turbocharger port on
the engine.
CHANGEOVER MATERIALS THAT
SHOULD BE CONSIDERED:
1.
For ease of changeover and extended life
of the compressor use the KN17500 series
flexible Teflon discharge line kit.
2.
Let the compressor breathe - use a KN19040
heavy duty filter.
3.
Universal waterline line kit, SN3502 to hook-up
coolant lines.
CHANGEOVER MATERIALS THAT
MIGHT BE REQUIRED:
1.
Remote mount governor kit SN4011B.
2.
Drive gear and drive coupler. (Note: Special
puller required to remove drive gear.)
3.
Coupler - compressor to fuel pump.

No change is required in the fuel pump system, throttle
linkage or oiling procedure. In most changeovers the old
fuel pump drive coupling (Item 11) can be reused. Haldex
recommends a new coupling be used. Drive Sleeve (Item
15) can generally be reused if a Bendix unit is being
replaced. A drive sleeve 2.75 inches long is required.
Pipe plug (Item 12) is needed if unit being replaced is oiled
from engine flange. The oiling options may or may not be
on the unit you are replacing.
