Attaching the TV Mounting Plate
and Hanging the TV on the Mount
DO NOT lay the TV face down when attaching
the TV mounting plate.
The TV should remain unplugged when threading
screws into the back panel.
Your mounting system features nine sets of screws
of varying diameter and length. Before attempting
to attach the mounting plate to your TV, determine
which screw set is the correct choice for your display.
1)
Note the various sets of VESA-compatible mounting
holes (round and keyhole) on the mounting plate.
2)
Align four holes on the mounting plate with four
threaded inserts on your TV's back panel.
3)
Manually thread the appropriate set of screws though
the mounting plate into the four TV inserts.
4)
With a Phillips screwdriver, tighten down the screws
so the mounting plate is securely attached to the TV.
DO NOT over tighten bolts. This can damage the wall
plate or your wall surface.
5)
With the help of a friend, hang the TV and attached
mounting plate onto the swing arm bracket.
6)
While holding the TV fi rmly in place, replace and
tighten the lower tension screws. Tighten the upper
tension screws.
