15 Troubleshooting table

• The green indicator «ON» does not light.
Check fuses and wiring connections cables.
Check main switch.
• The equipment still adding water till it breaks out of the sample.
The equipment does not detect the water level for low conductivity. Add about
250ml of tap water in the water tank.
Check the cable (white) of the level probe of the steam generator.
• At the end of distillation the sample tube content is absorbed to the
steam generator.
Check the steam hose is not obstructed.
Locate the AIR electrovalve:
Check it actives, check the voltage with a tester (230V).
Check (detaching it) it is not obstructed.
• The alarm (2) for hose presence and lock door is always warmed and
block the unit running.
Check the door is correctly closed.
Check the microswitches are o.k. (you will hear a click) when you close the door or
lower the lever.
Check the cable (grey) continuity.
• The refrigerating water does not enter
Check the tap is open.
Locate the refrigerating water input valve, check the voltage with a tester(230V).
If there is voltage and the valve does not open knock it. That is due to a small lime
rest blocking the water pass. If knocking is not enough, detach the valve to clean
the water pass.
• Security thermostat Alarm warmed and the equipment is blocked.
This alarm warms when there is an excessive temperature in the steam genera-
tor. In this case the heating element stay disconnected by the thermostat and the
control electronics block all the unit functions.
To rearm the thermostat, wait some minutes to let the temperature of the genera-
tor falls down to more normal level, and pulse the rearm switch.
The cause of the thermostat disconnection is that the steam generator lack of wa-
ter. Check the hydraulic wiring to generate water, tank, pump, hoses, level probe.
