INFRARED ADJUSTABLE PRESENCE DETECTOR WITH DUSK SENSOR
(Cod.PP3136-PP3137)
TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
•
Power supply: 230V~
•
Detection range: 10 metres
•
Detection angle: 120° max adjustable horizontally and vertically
•
Operating temperature:-20°C+40°C
•
Consumption: 0.9W
•
Degree of protection: IP54 (Protection against solid bodies of diameter greater than 1mm and against
•
water spray)
•
Motion detection speed: 0.6-1.5m/s
•
Do not obstruct the front of the product to avoid reducing the detection field.
OPERATION
The detector recognises slight temperature variations caused by the movement of persons, large animals
or vehicles within the coverage area, triggering the light.
The ignition time is adjustable via the "TIME" y from 10±3 seconds to 8±2 minutes; possible recognition
during ignition prolongs the ignition time itself.
Sensitivity of the dusk sensor is set via the "LUX" H. Completely turning the knob into the "MOON"Qposition,
the detector only operates in the evening hours after dusk; turning the knob onto the "SUN" H symbol,
the detector is always active throughout the day.
Move the sensor into the desired direction to locate the ideal detection field.
FUNCTION TEST
Turn the "LUX" to the maximum value (SUN), turn the "TIME" to the minimum value (-). As soon as power is
connected, the detector starts a reading phase which lasts from 5 to 30 seconds, during which the detection
field must be free from movement, while the connected load will be switched on and then switches off.
Next, stand in front of the detector for a few seconds to allow the device to calibrate.
The light will come on which will last from 5 to 15 seconds.
In case of residual lighting on the spotlight after switching off, check that the phase and neutral connection
has been made correctly.
Information for users: pursuant to art. 26 of Legislative Decree 14 March 2014, no. 49 "Implementation of Directive 2012/19/EU
Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE)", the waste bin symbol on the appliance or on its packaging indicates that the
product at the end of its useful life must be collected separately from other waste. The user must therefore deliver the equipment
at the end of its life to suitable recycling centres for electronic and electro-technical waste. As an alternative to self-management,
it is possible to deliver the equipment to be disposed to the retailer when purchasing a new equivalent device. It is also possible
to deliver, free of charge, the electronic products to be disposed of with dimensions of less than 25 cm to retailers of electronic
products with a sales area of at least 400 m2 with no purchase necessary. Adequate separate collection for the future use of the
equipment assigned for recycling, treatment and environmentally compatible disposal helps to prevent possible negative effects on
the environment and on human health and promotes recycling and/or reuse of the materials of which the equipment s composed.
