To Set the 1st User Code
● Input [OK] [OK] [1] [OK] on the keypad. GREEN light blinks.
● Input [Default User Code] and [OK] on the keypad.
● Input [NEW User Code] and [OK] to change the code successfully.
● A long beep will sound and the light will flash green for a couple seconds.

To Set 2 – 15 User Code
● Input [OK] [OK] [1] [1] [OK] on the keypad. GREEN light blinks.
● Input [Reset Code] and [OK] on the keypad. Note: This step will not reset or erase
any codes.
● Input [User Code] and [OK] to add the code successfully.
● A long beep will sound and the light will flash green for a couple of seconds.
To Change Programmed User Codes
● Input [OK] [OK] [1] [OK] on the keypad. GREEN light blinks.
● Input [OLD User Code] and [OK] on the keypad.
● Input [NEW User Code] and [OK] to change the code successfully.
● A long beep will sound and the light will flash green for a couple seconds.
C) Mechanical Override Key
The Mechanical Override Key should not be used to as the primary way to lock/unlock
the Tool chest.
The Key should only be used to temporarily override the lock IF the either of the
following happens:
1. The lock loses power and the turn-knob is in the locked state.
-OR-
2. The access codes are lost or forgotten, and the turn-knob is in the locked state.
● Insert the Key into the Lock's turn-knob and turn clockwise 90 degrees to unlock
the Tool Chest drawers.
● The Key will be in the vertical position and can not be removed. Forcibly
removing the key will damage the lock and void the warranty.
● If the lock has lost power, then follow the instructions in Section 6D – Lock Has
no Power.
● If the access codes are forgotten, then follow the instructions in Section 5 - Lock
Reset.
● Once the lock is energized or reset, then turn the key counterclockwise 90
degrees back to the horizontal position in order to remove the Key. The turn-knob
will be in the locked state.
D) Code Protection
You can input any random string of numbers including the [ * ] button directly before
and/or after entering the correct user code to engage the lock as long as the correct 4-
digit user code is entered sequentially.
● This step can be done for added security if you do not want a by-stander to watch
you enter the lock code.
● This code protection should be less than 20 digits in all—but it has to contain the
string of numbers in your User Code in its exact order.
● For example, if your user code is [1234][OK] and you wish to use the code
protection, you can enter any random pattern of numbers such as
[2513*][1234][6*52][OK] to engage the lock.
Section 4: Indicator Sounds and Lights
● A short beep will sound when each key is pressed and the light will flash green.
● Correct Code: A long beep will sound and the light will blink green.
● Incorrect Code: 3 short beeps will sound and the light will blink red.
● Successful programming of access code: a long beep will sound and the light will
blink green.
● Lock reset: 2 short beeps will sound and the light will blink green.
● Low Battery: 6 short beeps will sound and the light will blink blue.
Section 5: Lock Reset Button
The Lock Reset button erases all User codes and the Reset Code and restores them
to the factory default codes listed in Section 3 - Operation.
● To enable the Lock Reset function, the lock must have power.
● Remove the top drawer of the Tool Chest to gain access to the rear of the lock.
● Press the [OK] button on the keypad.
● Using the tip of a pen or similar, locate and press the Reset button on the back of the
lock for 2 seconds until it sounds with 2 short beeps. The light will blink green after
the successful reset.
● Test the lock using the factory default User code [1234][OK].
