Section 6: Troubleshooting
A) Forgot the User Code
● Use the Reset Code to unlock.
o Lock returns to the factory default user code.
o Program a new User Code.
-OR-
● Use the Mechanical Override Key to unlock the Tool Chest drawers.
o Remove the top drawer so that you can access the rear of the lock.
o Press the Reset button on the back side of the lock to restore to factory default
codes.
o Program a new Reset Code and User Code.
B) Forgot the Reset Code
● Use the Mechanical Override Key or the User Code to unlock the Tool Chest.
o Remove the top drawer so that you can access the rear of the lock.
o Press the Reset button on the back side of the lock to restore to factory default
codes.
o Program a new Reset Code and User Code.
C) Lock has Low Power
● When the battery power is beginning to get low, the keypad will still function;
however, after the correct User Code is entered, you will hear 6 short beeps and a
blue light will blink to alert you that the battery will need to be changed soon.
● The lock will function up to 100 cycles after initiating the low power signals.
D) Lock has No Power
● RED light blinks, or no light blinks and no beep sound; keypad has no reaction.
● Note: The turn-knob will remain in the same state as it was with power. For example,
if the lock loses power when the turn-knob is in the locked state, then it will stay in
the locked state. If turn-knob is unlocked when it loses power, then it will stay
unlocked .
● Open the battery compartment by carefully removing the two small screws and
replace the old battery with a new "CR2032" 3V cell battery.
● Replace the battery cover and screws. Be careful not to over-tighten the screws
● Re-test the lock function.
● You do not need to reprogram the Reset or User codes. The previous codes will
remain once lock is energized.
CAUTION:
Please keep the battery and small screws out of the reach of children when
changing the battery to avoid creating a choking or personal injury hazard.
Section 7: Care and Use / Warranty Information
● Keep the keypad clear of dirt, grease, and solvents.
● Use a damp cloth to wipe clean.
● Do not spray with lubricants or oils.
● Change the battery at least once a year

SAWDUST, and provide the SN number engraved on the bottom of the lock.
