PROPER USE

The AP 30 L pump is a centrifugal electric pump and is used for the transfer of light fuel oil and diesel fuel. It is ideal for the
quick and easy refuelling of vehicles with diesel engines from drums, containers and tanks. Proper use also requires the as-
sembly, operation, disassembly and maintenance instructions to be followed.
Any uses other than those described above, e.g. the transfer of solvents or petrol, may create serious explosion and
fire hazards and are considered improper, as are arbitrary modifications made to the product by the operator. The manu-
facturer refuses all responsibility for damage caused by improper use. Furthermore, improper use of the pump will automati-
cally invalidate the guarantee.

Read the instructions carefully before using the pump and keep them for further reference.

Do not use for solvents and fuels (e.g. petrol).

Temperature range of liquids from – 10 °C to + 35° C (DIN 51601/1).

The motor of the 220 V version features double insulation.
Ü
The safety equipment is completed by a built-in anti-siphon system that ensures that the liquid contained in the
drum does not leak into the environment in the case of accidental damage to the delivery tube or fuelling gun.

The pump must never be used when empty.
Ü
The pump only works in a vertical position.
Ü
The pump must only be used under the surveillance of the operator.
Ü
Before connecting the pump to the power supply, ensure that the voltage complies with the limitations indi-
cated.

Do not smoke during diesel refuelling.
Ü
Avoid spilling diesel, which is harmful to the environment.
