Mounting the Rack to a Bicycle:
Seat Stay Attachment
Always use the threaded mounts if possible. If your
bicycle does not have any mounting points at B (Figure
4), then you can use the band clamps (item 11) provided
with the Moose Rack to attach the stays at B (Figure 4).
Some bicycles don't have mounting points at A (Figure 4).
This is probably a sign that the bicycle was not designed
for carrying heavy loads and a Moose Rack should not be
attached to that bicycle.
WARNING, DO NOT ATTACH BAND CLAMPS TO CARBON
FIBER BICYCLE FRAMES AS THEY CAN BE CRUSHED.

Montage du rack sur un vélo :
Arrimage des haubans
Utilisez toujours des points d'attache filetés, si possible.
Si votre vélo n'est pas équipé de points d'attache en B
(Figure 4), utilisez les serre-joints à sangle (pièce 11)
fournis avec votre accessoire afin d'arrimer les haubans
en B (Figure 4). Certains vélos ne sont pas pourvus de
points d'attache en A (Figure 4), ce qui indique probable-
ment qu'ils n'ont pas été conçus pour transporter des
charges lourdes. Le Moose Rack n'est donc pas adapté à
ses modèles.

Befestigung der Sitzstütze
Verwenden Sie immer die Gewindebefestigungen,
falls möglich. Wenn Ihr Fahrrad bei B (Abb. 4) keine
Befestigungspunkte hat, können Sie die Bandklemmen
(Punkt 11) verwenden, die mit dem Moose-Gepäck-
träger mitgeliefert werden, um die Streben an B (Abb.
4) zu befestigen. Einige Fahrräder haben keine Befes-
tigungspunkte bei A (Abb. 4). Dies ist wahrscheinlich
ein Zeichen dafür, dass das Fahrrad nicht für den
Transport schwerer Lasten ausgelegt ist und kein
Moose-Gepäckträger an diesem Fahrrad befestigt
werden sollte.
WARNUNG: BEFESTIGEN SIE KEINE BANDKLEMMEN
AN CARBONFASER-FAHRRADRAHMEN, DA DIESE
ZERDRÜCKT WERDEN KÖNNEN. BANDKLEMMEN
KÖNNEN AN JEDER ART VON METALLRAHMEN VER-
WENDET WERDEN.

Montaje del portabultos en una
bicicleta:
Colocación de la vaina del asiento
Utilice siempre monturas roscadas si es posible. Si la
bicicleta no dispone de puntos de montaje en B (Figura
4), puede utilizar las abrazaderas de banda (elemento
11) suministradas con el Moose Rack para fijas las
vainas en B (Figura 4). Algunas bicicletas no disponen
de puntos de montaje en A (Figura 4). Esto proba-
blemente indique que la bicicleta no se ha diseñado
para transportar cargas pesadas y el Moose Rack no
debería instalarse en este tipo de bicicletas.
ADVERTENCIA: NO INSTALE ABRAZADERAS DE
BANDA EN CUADROS DE BICICLETA DE FIBRA DE
CARBONO YA QUE PODRÍAN PARTIRSE. CUALQUIER
TIPO DE CUADRO DE METAL PERMITE UTILIZAR LAS
ABRAZADERAS DE BANDA.
