Type of anchor bolt:
The maximum working load (MWL) of this anchor bolt is 800 daN.
It is an all direction type, so it can be used in all directions.
It is designed for bracing exercise equipment and anchoring certain public sports equipment to the ground (check the
loads transmitted to the anchor bolt with the equipment manufacturer.
Note : put up an equipment anchor bolt layout drawing in full view of users.
Warning:
This equipment should be installed by a qualified person in a background equivalent to CC22.
Using this equipment for purposes other than those originaly intended is not allowed.
Compliance:
This anchor bolt complies with the requirements of French Standard NF S52-400: "Games equipment – Attachment
points – Operating and safety requirements" if it is installed in a background equivalent to CC22.
Recommendations:
As shown in French Standard NF S52-400 the following are recommended:
- keep this notice for subsequent reference (inspection, maintenance, etc.).
- periodically carry out forecast maintenance.
- depending on how much it is used have it serviced yearly or every few years.
Specific requirements for backgrounds : (paragraph 6 of standard NF S52-400)
"The background should be appropriate for receiving attachment points and absorbing loads transmitted by sports
equipment.
Attachment points should not get in the way of the background as a whole (watertightness, solidity, etc.).
Only the owner and/or contractor for the background is entitled to allow the attachment points to be fixed and tests to be
carried out considering what type they are and the loads transmitted.
The owner and/or contractor shall entrust the design, sizing and fixing of the following to a professionally qualified entity
(carpenter, architect, building contractor, design office, etc.):
- attachment point supports;
- foundation blocks;
- possible additional stiffeners for the supporting structure.
The sports equipment manufacturer shall provide the owner and/or contractor for the background with the following: the
loads and stresses to be allowed for, at the attachment points of his equipment on the background in connection with the
loads, as well as the types and specifications of the proposed attachment points.
It is up to the contractor to make the background appropriate for the attachment points in accordance with their locations
and the loads provided by the sports equipment manufacturer". See CC22.
