I. Chimical bedding the anchor bolt (with no pocket) :
Check that the 4 fin fatering plug is securely fixed (7) into the anchor bolt body (5).
1) Mark out the anchor bolt position.
2) Make a 45mm (1.77") ø hole (or drill it) 115mm (4.53") deep from finished floor level (see Fig. 1).
3) Carefully clean out the hole (brush and suction).
4) Fill the hole half full with synthetic compound (Epoxy SPIT EPOBAR) (8).
5) Ram the anchor bolt (5) + (7) into the hole rotating it all the time (see Fig. 2), until the fastening plug (7) rests on the
finished
floor (see Fig. 3).
6) Clean off the excess synthetic compound.
7) Wait 24 hours before using the anchor bolt.

II. Adjusting the anchor bolt :
1) Remove the fastening plug (7) (see Fig. 4).
2) Fit the collar unit (4) + slide (3) in the body (5) by screwing (see Fig. 5).
3) Adjust the height of the cover (1) in relation to the finished floor level by screwing or unscrewing the collar (3) (see Fig. 6
et Fig.7).
4) Lock the collar (4) with the "medium" threaded lock.

III. Anchor bolt maintenance :
Anchor bolts should be regularly cleaned: suck out the dust and magnesium build-up, remove stagnant water.
They do not have to be greased.
IV. Inspection and checking :
Depending on how much they are used, anchor bolts should be checked by a skilled person yearly or every few years in
accordance with French standard NF S52-400.
