Damage to the suspension fork may cause the
ebike to crash. Types of damage include,
for example:
bent components

loose or loosened components

leaking oil

Also look for other signs of possible sus-
pension fork failure, such as:
reduced shock absorption

bottoming out of the suspension fork
R
There is a risk of an accident.
Discontinue using the ebike. Have the
ebike checked at a qualified specialist
workshop.

Setting the tyre pressures

The suspension fork could become
damaged if the air pressure is too high.
Do not exceed the maximum permissible
air pressure specified on the suspension
fork sticker.
Only use suspension pumps that are sui-
table for use with bicycle suspension
forks and suspension struts. Other air
pumps, such as tyre inflation compres-
sors at filling stations, could damage
the suspension fork.
