Symptoms
1. Effervescence ports do not
work.

Probable Causes
A. Whirlpool pump is not
operating.
B. Backjet butterfly valve does not
open.
C. Not enough water in whirlpool.
D. Actuator switch does not work.
E. Power from the pump motor to
the control is off.
F. Backjet pipe is blocked.
G. Switch wire from switch to
control is disconnected.
A. Pulse canister does not work.
B. Switch does not work.
C. Switch wire from the switch to
the control is disconnected.
Probable Causes
A. Whirlpool pump is not
operating.
B. Butterfly valve does not open.
C. Pump does not work.
D. Control does not work.
A. Air intake on the suction line is
blocked.
B. Water flow is too low.

Recommended Action
A. Turn on pump.
B. Check for loose connections or
wires leading from the backjet
pulse canister to the control.
Replace the backjet pulse canister
or control if necessary. Refer to the
installer/dealer.
C. Fill whirlpool so water level
sensors.
D. Replace the actuator switch. Refer
to the installer/dealer.
E. Check for loose connections or
wires leading from the pump
motor to the control. Refer to the
installer/dealer.
F. Remove blockage.
G. Reconnect or replace switch wires
that use a modular plug. Refer to
the installer/dealer.
A. Check for loose connections or
wires leading from the pulse
canister control. Replace the pulse
canister or control if necessary.
Refer to the installer/dealer.
B. Replace the switch. Refer to the
installer/dealer.
C. Reconnect or replace the switch
wires that the modular plug. Refer
to the installer/dealer.
Recommended Action
A. Turn on pump.
B. Replace the butterfly valve. Refer
to the installer/dealer.
C. Refer to the Service Manual to
troubleshoot the system. Refer to
the installer/dealer.
D. Replace the control. Refer to the
installer/dealer.
A. Remove blockage.
B. Increase the water flow.
