3. General
reccomendations
• Remember that this device is a valid aid during
parking manoeuvres, but that only the driver
is responsible for evaluating obstacles. He/She
must drive in a careful, prudent way to prevent
damage to persons or property .
• High speed during parking manoeuvres
prevents the obstacle from being detected in
time.
• In certain circumstances, critical obstacles
such as very low, small, thin or pointed ones
or generally with low reflective or high
absorption properties or sharp angles, may not
be detected.
• Heavy rain, snow or water falling on the
sensors, as well as the presence of external
ultrasonic sources, could also give a not
correct system operation with not proper
detections.
• To avoid faulty operation, snow, ice and dirt
must be cleaned from the sensors. Do not use
hard or pointed objects or high pressure spray
to clean the sensors.
