_
Remove the saw band protection (5 & 6).
_
Loosen the screw (33) and use a set square to
check that the angle between the saw band (4) and
the table top (3) is 90°.
If the angle is not exactly 90°, adjust as follows:
_
Turn the screw to adjust the sawing angle.
Adjusting the saw band (fig. A & J)
The saw band has been adjusted correctly when it
is centered on
the saw band wheels and does not show wobble.
_
Loosen the screws (13 & 14) and open the covers
(7 & 8).
_
Turn the saw band (4) around by turning the upper

_
Remove the saw band protection (5).
If adjustment is required, proceed as follows:
_
Slacken the height adjuster (10) and slide the saw
band until it is centered on the wheel.
_
Check the running of the saw band again and
further adjust if required.
_
Tighten the height adjuster.
Adjusting the saw band guides (fig. A, K & L)
The saw band guides have been adjusted correctly
if the saw band has a clearance of max. 1 mm.
Upper saw band guide
_
Remove the saw band protection (5).
_
Move the saw band guide to its upper position
using the height adjuster (11).
_
Loosen the screws (35).
