EuroSys™ 700™ & 800™
Thank you for choosing Peavey's new EuroSys series enclosures as part of your sound reinforcement system. We
take great pride in the design and manufacture of our units and you can expect top performance and reliability. Your
EuroSys enclosure has been rigorously tested before packing and dispatch to your dealer. The EuroSys enclosures
are a nominal 4 ohms impedance and are equipped with a full range high power passive crossover incorporating a
horn limiter.
Connection:-
The EuroSys series enclosures are equipped with 2 x combo/jack Speakon®-compatible sockets. The two sockets
are connected in parallel to provide a convenient connection to a further enclosure. (Note that the total load will
then be 2 ohms). The two combo/jack Speakon®-compatible sockets allow use with either 6.3mm jack plugs and or
Speakon® compatible plugs. When using the Speakon compatible plug wire the positive to 1+ and the negative to
1-.
Grille removal:-
In the unlikely event that access is required to the drivers the grille needs to be removed by releasing it from either of
the enclosure sides. There are no grille fixing screws. Lay the enclosure on its back and using two small screwdrivers
or similar hand tools carefully pushed into the grille holes near the opposite opposing corners, ease the grille towards
you. The grille will give allowing its removal. Do not attempt to prise or lever out the grille as this will result in damage
to the paint finish on both the grille and the enclosure.
