• Handle the device with care. Keeping it clean
and oiling it will lead to safer and better
operation.
• Never hold or carry the device by the hose!
• Always store the device out of the reach of
children and other people who are not fa-miliar
with handling the device. Tools in the hands of
unauthorised people can be dan-gerous.
• Place the device correctly on the work surface.
Do not fire staples directly onto other staples or
at an angle that is too severe. The staples can
rebound and cause injuries.
• Do not use the device as a hammer!
• Store screws and coverings neatly!
• Keep your face, hands, feet and other body parts
at a safe distance from the drive mechanism.
• Only disconnect the device from the air hose
when your finger is not on the trigger. The
device may fire when it is reconnected.
• Do not load the device with your finger on the
trigger or when the retainer is activated.
• Do not fire staples into thin boards, near the
edges or on corners of a workpiece. Staples can
break and cause injury.
• Always disconnect the air hose for:
• Maintenance, inspections and repairs;
• Twisting the exhaust duct;
• Changing the no-mar tip;
• Removing blockages;
• Non-use;
• Transport;
• Handing over to another person.
• Only use parts that are specified by the
manufacturer for this specific model. Using
unauthorised parts and not following the
maintenance instructions can lead to increased
risk of injury.
• Only use oil and grease that are specifically
intended for the device.
• Servicing and repairs on the device should only
be carried out by an authorised person.
• Never use oxygen, other cylinder gases or
combustible gases as propellants. These are
dangerous and can cause explosions.
• Never exceed the maximum pressure listed
on the device. Use only clean, dry, regulated,
compressed air within the range listed on
the device. Never connect the device with a
pressure source that exceeds 200 PSI.
• Be careful with the hose. Avoid knots,
constrictions and contact with solvents or
objects. Replace damaged hoses immediately
as they could break and swirl around.
• Check the connections, hoses and the
compressor before each use. Repair or replace
damaged hoses and connections immediately.
The hose can easily burst, causing personal
injury.

Follow the steps below to prepare your device
for use:
5/7mm(1/4")
1. All users and their immediate supervisor must
be familiar with the safety instructions for
operators prior to use.
2. Each device has its own copy of the safety
instructions. Keep these documents handy for

instructions. Also, install a pressure gauge as
40mm
1-5/8"
close as possible to the staple unit, preferably
1.26 x 1.05mm
within 3m.
(0.050")(0.041")
4. Select pressure hoses with an internal
18Ga.
diameter of at least 0.64cm and a maximum
length of 30m.
CAUTION: To reduce the risk of injury caused
by a burst hose, use a hose which is designed
225mm
for a minimum of 200 PSI.
240mm
5. Use the correct connectors for the hose.

The stapler and air hose need a coupling so
no pressure remains when the connector is

separated.
CAUTION: Never use non pressure-relieving

pneumatic connectors can be used with the

and 110 PSI. The best pressure is the lowest
level at which you can successfully work.
