ALIGNMENT WITH VEHICLE
PLACEMENT
Put the headlight tester in front of the right
headlight of the car, at a distance of
approximately 20 cm; measure the height from
the floor to the headlight centre and adjust the
optical chamber accordingly, through the
graduated scale on the column. Use the upper
part of the sliding block as scale index.
ADJUSTMENT
Make sure that the optical chamber is on the
flat, looking at the level inside. If it is not on the
flat, release the lever in the figure and adjust
the chamber.
ALIGNMENT WITH MIRROR VIEWER
Search for two symmetrical details at the front
of the car (e.g. the upper part of the
windscreen or the headlights). Make sure that
the viewer line matches the two points taken as
reference; otherwise, rotate the headlight tester
until this result is achieved.
NO
ALIGNMENT WITH LASER VIEWER
Both the operator and the engineer of the work
island must be aware of the risks arising from
using the laser. The island must not be located
in any transit area; it must be properly marked
by a yellow strip and suitably fenced in, if need
be.
