The Suspension Kit allows the EB140 Dehumidifier to be suspended from a ceiling.

1. Select a location in the space that will allow for proper
distribution of air, and easy access to the ceiling where you
wish to install the dehumidifier.
2. Mark four mounting points on the ceiling supports. The
spacing of the mounting points as shown in Fig. A (approx.
14.5 × 16 in.) will help to ensure proper weight balance after
installation.
3. Attach each end of the straps to the mounting points with a
suitable fastener and tool.
4. Using the leveling straps, release enough strap in each loop
until the dehumidifier can be lifted through the loops and set
in place as shown in Fig. A.
5. Using the leveling straps, alternately raise each end of the
dehumidifier a few inches at a time. Repeat until the
dehumidifier no more than a few inches below the mounting
points.
TIP: When installation is complete, the dehumidifier should hang freely from the straps.
6. Using a level, confirm that the dehumidifier is level from front to back and side to side. Loosen or tighten straps as
needed to ensure the unit is level.
7. Connect power supply and pump hose. The pump hose should slope downward where possible. The end of the hose
should be placed in a suitable drain, preferably outside the area. Do not place the end of the hose higher than three
feet above the unit.
The dehumidifier is now ready for operation. Please refer to the EB140 Owner's Manual for important safety,
operation and maintenance instructions.
