ADDITIONAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS FOR
BANDSAWS
N ever attempt to saw extremely small workpieces.
W hile sawing, never place your fingers where they
could touch the saw blade in case the workpiece
were to move unexpectedly.
M ake sure that the saw blade has the correct
tension.
M ake sure that the saw blade is mounted with the
teeth pointing down to avoid that the workpiece is
lifted unexpectedly.
D o not use the machine before it has been
assembled and installed in accordance with the
instructions.
D o not perform any designing, mounting or
assembling activities on the workbench while the
machine is switched on.
S witch off the machine, remove the saw blade and
clean the saw table before you leave the machine
unattended.

Your bandsaw has been designed for making
straight, circular, mitre and bevel cuts in wood,
plastics and leather.

Mounting the machine (A)
The machine must be screwed to a workbench.
M ark the position of the mounting holes (2) on the
workbench.
D rill holes at each of the marked positions,
adjusting the diameter and depth of the holes to the
screws used.
P lace the machine on the workbench and insert
the screws into the mounting holes.
F irmly tighten the screws.
Saw blade protection (fig. A & B)
The saw blade protection can be removed
temporarily to adjust the sawing angle and the saw
blade guides.
S lacken the locking screws (3) and open the cover
(7).
M ove the saw blade protection (6) to its lowest
position using the height adjuster (10).
L oosen the screws (13) and remove the protection.
R eplace the saw blade protection as soon as
adjustment has been performed.
Never use the saw without saw
blade protection.
Make sure the saw blade protection

Mounting the saw table (fig. A & C)
H old the protractor (14) up against the machine as
shown and turn the clamping handle (11) into the
opening.
F asten the clamping handle and make sure it
points downwards.
I f required, lift the handle from the knurled spindle
and turn so it points downwards. The handle jumps
back automatically.
L oosen the nut (15) and remove the screw (16).
S lide the saw blade (5) into the slot (17) and place
the saw table (4) onto the protractor.
A ttach the saw table using the screws (18).
S ecurely tighten the screws.
R eplace the screw (16) and tighten the nut (15).
Adjusting the sawing angle (fig. A, C & D)
The default angle of the saw blade compared to the
saw table is 90°.
R emove the saw blade protection (6).
S lacken the clamping handle (11) and use a set
square to check that the sawing angle is 90°.
If the angle is not exactly 90°, adjust as follows:
T urn the nut (19) a few threads counterclockwise.
T urn the screw (20) to set adjust the sawing angle
using an Allen key.
