R
EFRIGERATOR
Recommended grounding method
• A 220~240 Volt/50 Hz AC only 10
Ampere fused and properly
grounded electrical supply is re-
quired.
• It is recommended that a separate
circuit serving only this appliance be
provided.
• Use a receptacle which cannot be
turned off with a switch or pull
chain.
• Do not use an extension cord.
NOTE: Before performing any type of
installation, disconnect the refrigera-
tor from the electrical source. When
you are finished, connect the refrig-
erator to the electrical source and set
the control in the desired position.
Operation instructions
To obtain the best performance form your refrigerator, it is important that
you operate it properly.
Temperature Control
The temperature inside the refrigera-
tor is controlled by the thermostat
control knob. The thermostat control
box is loaded in compressor compart-
ment.
• Turn the thermostat control knob
up or down to regulate the tem-
perature inside the refrigerator-
freezer.
• The settings 1 to 6 on the control
knob indicate different tempera-
tures.
• The setting 1 is the warmest and
position and 6 is the coldest. The
OFF setting stops the operation.
• Set the control to a position be-
tween 1 and 6 for normal use. Gen-
erally, select position number 3.
Leveling the unit
If the refrigerator is not leveled dur-
ing installation, the doors may not
close or seal properly, causing cool-
ing, frost, or moisture problems. It is
very important for the refrigerator to
be level in order to function properly.
To level the refrigerator you may ei-
ther turn a leveling leg clockwise to
raise that side to the refrigerator or
turn it counterclockwise to lower that
side.
NOTE: Having someone to push
against the top of the unit will take
some weight off the leveling legs.
This makes it easier to adjust the
leveling legs.
Store Frozen Food
• When using the refrigerator for the
first time, or after defrosting, turn
the temperature control to setting 6
for at least two hours before intro-
ducing food.
• All frozen foods you purchase
should be placed in the freezer com-
partment as soon as possible to
avoid the frozen food from defrost-
ing.
• Storage recommendations printed
on the packaging of frozen food by
the manufacturers should be always
be followed.
• Be careful that the drawer does not
mangle the refrigeration pipeline.
