8. Ensure the X5R SSD and its components are free from contamination (e.g. water, oil,
soil and sand).
Introduction
The X5R SSD is a high performance storage device designed for the Zenmuse X5R. It is
essential when shooting video in a lossless format.
Usage
To store files, insert the X5R SSD into the gimbal system; to export files, insert the X5
SSD into the X5R Reader. The procedures below use the Zenmuse X5R gimbal system
as illustration.
Storing Files
1. Power off the Zenmuse X5R.
2. Insert the X5R SSD into the Zenmuse X5R. If the SSD is not detected, check that it is
inserted correctly.
