QUICK GUIDE RECOVERY
Renault Connex Recovery offers protection services with the advantage
of an easy remote access to security and convenience features through
Renault Connected Car, the mobile app designed to help you keep in
touch with your vehicle at all times. After choosing your tracking service, you
can automatically have access to Renault Connected Car, the dedicated
mobile app providing vehicle information. Multi smartphone and tablet
support allows Renault Connected Car use from iOS® and Android™
devices. Depending on the service subscription, the telematics unit and
options installed, remote vehicle management and security functions may
include:
Tamper attempts
Unauthorized vehicle movement
detection
GSM Jamming
External Alarm
Geo Fence
Speed Limit
Car Finder
Trip Report
Emergency number accessible via the app can be used
to the Operative Center.
Renault Connected Car mobile app can be easily downloaded at :
App Store for iPhones and
IPad
Google Play store for Android Smartphone
Engine Lock
Transportation Mode set/unset
Garage Mode set/unset
Declare a Theft
to declare a stolen
and Tablet
To access these services, a Login and a Password will be supplied at
service activation:
Your LOGIN is the number of your Client Card, which is contained in the
Welcome Letter received at subscription.
Your PASSWORD will be sent to You in the Welcome SMS Message
received at service activation.
OVERRIDE CODE - Emergency procedure for crank inhibition
deactivation.
Note: as soon as the service activation will be performed, you will receive
a welcome message that contains also your emergency code (override
code), to be used to deactivate the crank inhibition (as an example when
there is an ongoing jamming attack of the GSM network or when it is
impossible to get in touch with the SOC to ask for the deactivation).
Note: at fi rst be sure to have the emergency code available.
1. Turn the ignition key ON and leave it turned ON for not less than 2 min.
2. Turn the ignition key OFF and leave it turned OFF for a time equal to the
fi rst digit of your emergency code multiplied by 10 s.
3. Turn the ignition key ON and leave it turned ON for a time equal to the
second digit of your emergency code multiplied by 10 s.
4. Turn the ignition key OFF and leave it turned OFF for a time equal to the
third digit of your emergency code multiplied by 10 s.
5. Turn the ignition key ON and leave it turned ON for a time equal to the
fourth digit of your emergency code multiplied by 10 s.
6. Turn the ignition key OFF.
7. Switch the engine ON.
If the engine does not start, repeat the procedure from step "1".
OVERRIDE code example: 1234
digit 1 - 10 s ignition key OFF,
digit 2 - 20 s ignition key ON,
digit 3 - 30 s ignition key OFF,
digit 4 - 40 s ignition key ON.
What Happens if your vehicle is stolen abroad?
Your fi rst point of contact is always your National SOC using the phone
number which appears in your Service Manual. The SOC will then re-direct
the confi rmed theft to the SOC in the country of theft in order to track the
vehicle and liaise with the Police authorities in the local language.
