Practical handling
Positioning
Position AutoTurn centrally on the car seat.
Fit the straps, fasten and tighten securely at seat back.
Fit the functional locking system (next to the functional handle)
to the safety belt. When the user turns in the seat, the belt will
automatically glide slightly forward.
Use
The user seats him/herself on the centre of AutoTurn. The user
then raises either both legs simultaneously or one leg at a time
inside the vehicle, thus turning the body inside the car (AutoTurn
is also perfect for turning the user inside the vehicle) (Illustrations
1, 2 and 3). This avoids unnecessary strain on the body. The carer
can pull on the functional handle to help the user glide into place.
The safety belt can be secured on the opposite side using
the functional locking system (Illustration 4).
To exit the car, the user swings the legs out of the vehicle,
preferably in stages, before raising him/herself to the standing
position.
