To install the Surge Protector—Telco, simply insert
it in series between the incoming communication
lines and the port of the equipment you wish to
protect. Connect the ground wire to the
equipment's metal chassis, or to the metallic screw
on the bottom side of the device.
You must connect the ground wire to the metal chassis
of the equipment you wish to protect. For best results,
keep the ground wire as short as possible.
