Initial Operation
Before initial operation, insert the batteries
according to Section "Inserting/Replacing
the Battery".
Do not look into the beam and
do not direct the laser beam at
the eyes of other persons.
Switching On/Off
Switch the device on with the On/Off but-
ton 4 . Select the desired sensitivity with but-
ton 5 , hold the receiver horizontally or verti-
cally (for horizontal lines) and slowly move
toward the laser line until a signal sounds.
Inserting/Replacing
the Battery
Open the lid of the battery compartment.
Insert the batteries or replace the used batter-
ies with new ones.
For disposal of the used batteries, see the
Section "Environmental Protection".
Maintenance
and Cleaning
Always clean the line-laser receiver after us-
ing. Remove any moisture using a soft, dry
cloth.
Do not use aggressive cleaning agents or
solvents.
If the machine should happen to fail despite
the care taken in manufacture and testing, re-
pair should be carried out by an authorized
customer services agent for Würth power
tools.
In all correspondence and spare parts orders,
please always include the 10-digit order
number given on the nameplate of the ma-
chine.
The plastic components are labelled for cate-
gorized recycling.
Do not throw used batteries into house waste,
fire or water but dispose of in an environmen-
tally friendly manner according to the appli-
cable legal regulations.
For this Würth machine, we provide a war-
ranty in accordance with statutory/coun-
try-specific regulations from the date of pur-
chase (proof of purchase by invoice or deliv-
ery note). Damage that has occurred will be
corrected by replacement or repair.
Damage caused by normal wear, overload-
ing or improper handling is excluded from
the warranty.
Claims can be accepted only when the ma-
chine is presented undisassembled to a
Würth branch office or a Würth field service
employee.
