GENERALWARNING
Before connecting the appliance, check the voltage shown on the appliance
corresponds to the local main voltage.
This appliance must only be used for the purpose it has been designed and in
accordance with the operating instructions. Any other use is improper and therefore
dangerous. Before using the appliance, make sure that there is no damage. If in
doubt, do not use it and contact an authorized centre. In case of damage or bad
working of the appliance, switch it off,do not try to repair it by yourself but always
address to authorised centres.
This appliance may be used by children of more than 8 years of age, persons with
physical, sensory or mental capabilities or inexpert persons only if they have been
previously trained in using it in a safe manner, and only if they have been informed
of the dangers the product can cause.
Children may not play with the appliance. Children may not clean or carry out any
maintenance on the appliance without adult supervision.
In order to protect children from risks of electrical shocks, do not leave the appliance
unattended, when it is plugged in. Consequently, store it out of their reach. Never
operate the appliance without water in the tank. Use only clean, cool, tap water
to fill tank (softened or distilled water is recommended, if tap water is hard). Be
sure the filling tap of the tank is firmly tightened. Always have the mist nozzle and
the water tank in place while the unit is operating. Never address mist towards
children, walls and furniture or superficies that can be damaged by vapour. As any
other electrical device, plug and unplug it with dry hands only. Turn the unit off
before unplugging it. Never operate the unit with a damaged cordon or plug, do not
try to repair the product by yourself but always address to authorized centres.
Always position the humidifier on a flat level surface, far away from heat sources,
sunbeams, sharp objects and away from computer or electronic equipments.
Never use an extension cord or electrical adapter. Keep the cord away from heated
surfaces and areas where it could be walked on or tripped over.
Note: the mist will automatically shut off when the water level is too low; however,
power light is still on.
Unplug the unit when not in use and whenever you clean or move it. Before filling
the tank always switch the product off and unplug it. Never try to unplug the
product pulling it from the cable or from the product itself. Do not add any type of
disinfectant into the nozzle, base or water tank.
Do not cover any opening of the unit or insert objects into any of them. The unit
should not be left unattended in close rooms, as air could become saturated and
leave condensation on walls and furniture.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be changed by manufacturer or by its service
agent or by a qualified person in order to avoid an hazard.
When cleaning inside the unit, keep water away from the air outlet. The exterior
parts may be wiped with a damp cloth (except for electrical controls) when the unit
