Using a high frequency oscillator, the ultrasonic humidifier breaks the water down into tiny particles measuring 1-5um. The
ventilation system releases these particles into the environment to restore correct humidity in the room or environment where the
humidifier is installed. The product has a capacious
5.8 litre tank guaranteeing operation and humidification of the room throughout the night.
The product is extremely energy efficient (it consumes 85-90% less electricity than a normal mist humidifier).
A NOTE ON HUMIDITY
Relative humidity is the percentage of water vapour in a given area and at a certain temperature.
It is advisable to maintain a level of humidity between 45 and 65% (RH). Dry air, caused by central heating, is harmful to the human
respiratory system; restoring the correct level of humidity helps to ensure a healthy and comfortable domestic environment. The
level of humidity can vary from room to room and depend on the conditions of each room. During the winter, condensation or frost
can form on some windows or walls due to an excessive level of humidity inside. In this case, the intensity of the vapour mist has
to be reduced. A high degree of humidity in a room can favour the proliferation of fungi and bacteria on surfaces.
To keep humidity under control, especially in smaller rooms, it is necessary to keep the door open and control the level of mist
emissions.
HOW THE IONIZER WORKS
The air we breathe is charged with electrical energy, so is rich in positive (+) and negative (-) ions. Our wellbeing depends on the
perfect balance of the two.
Many devices in the home (computers, air conditioners, some electrical appliances and even cigarette smoke and insufficient
ventilation) cause an increase in positive ions and therefore create unbalance (more positive than negative ions in the air).
The function of the ionizer is to fill the air with negative ions (particles with a negative electrical charge) to restore that lost balance.
These particles attach themselves onto any impurities in the air, as all particles such as bacteria, dust, smoke, etc., have a positive
charge, and neutralize these, precipitating them.
Medical research has proven the beneficial nature of negative ions on our psychological and physical wellbeing, with the benefits
to the respiratory system and stress relieving effects of purer air.
For this reason, ionizers are now used more than ever not only in the home, especially for the health of children, but also in
hospitals, gyms and other public places.
OPERATION
Initially, put the product in the room (before use) and leave it for half an hour/one hour (if the temperature is below 5° C). Use clean
water in the product. The temperature of the water must never exceed 40° C.
Always check the water tank and pipes are clean.
1-Remove the tank from its base. Turn the cap on the valve to its LOOSEN or FASTEN position and fill the tank with clean water.
Close the cap on the valve and put the tank back on its base, taking all due care in the process.
2-Insert the spout in the hole at the top of the tank.
3-Plug the device into a mains socket (always check the voltage is correct and the same as the input voltage) and the product
automatically goes into standby.
ATTENTION: never turn on the humidifier without water in the tank.
4-Press the ON button to turn on the product. The power LED lights up. The product starts to work at the minimum level of mist and
at the same time the motor runs at minimum speed. When the product is turned off (OFF), all the functions except the ion function
are disabled, and the power LED turns off.
5-ION function: press the ION button when the product is in standby. This function is activated automatically and in any environment.
When the ion function is disabled, the product turns off completely.
6-TIMER function: there are buttons on the front of the product for setting the time of humidification in the room. You can choose
between several options (2 hours, 8 hours and 12 hours).
7-Mist level: you can set 4 levels of mist emission/intensity: low, medium, medium/high and high (corresponding to different power
ratings: 17-19W low; 19-23W medium; 23-27W medium/high; 27-30W high).
8-Protection of the appliance when the water runs out: the product turns off automatically when the water tank is empty. The
(time or mist) settings are reset automatically. You will, therefore, need to put in more water and reconfigure the required settings.
