Risk of electrocution!
Before starting the work, isolate the heating system from the power supply and
safeguard against unintentional reconnection!
Danger! Risk of explosion and fire caused by leaking gas!
The VGU 86 S gas valve must only be installed by an approved gas installer.
Before commencing the work, the gas shut-off device must be closed.
Use the enclosed seals during the installation. After installing the unit, check all
connections for leaks. The gas valve and the gas pipe must only be pressure-test-
ed at max. 150 mbar.

Remove the plug from the gas valve.
2.
Undo the union nuts and remove the defective gas valve.
3.
Remove the protective caps from the new valve and install the valve in the
correct flow direction with new seals (accessory kit).
Note that the installation position of the gas valve may vary here depending
on the heating system's unit type.
4.
Reinsert the plug into the gas valve and secure it using the locking screw.
5.
Open the gas shut-off device and vent the gas train, if required. To do this,
open the measuring nozzle for the connecting pressure (see the figure above)
and vent this while taking into consideration the safety precautions.
6.
Check the leak-tightness of the connections. Observe the maximum test pres-
sure.
7.
Start up the heating system and set the CO
specifications in the installation manual for the gas-fired condensing boiler.
