Remove the screws and the brackets from the side of the power distribution
board.

Attach the brackets with the screws to the back of the power distribution
board.
2. Attach the power distribution board to the rack or to the bottom of the chassis.
Note
Do not connect the distribution board power cable until the power supply has been installed.
3. Connect the DC power patch cables between the power distribution board and the blades.
Install the Power Supply
DANGER
Risk of electric shock. Remove all power before installing the power supply.
Note
Do not connect all power supply modules to the same supply circuit:
• Each power supply module draws up to 1000 W of power from the mains. Connecting
multiple modules to the same circuit may overload the circuit.
• The power supply has built in redundancy that allows for failure in one or more power
supply modules. If the modules are supplied from separate circuits that redundancy will
also cover failures in the circuits.
• It is possible to connect multiple power distribution boards to the power supply. To do so
use separate terminals on the back of the power supply for each power distribution panel.
The terminals are connected in parallel.
1. Remove the cover over one of the DC power output terminals on the back of the power
supply.
