HOW TO USE THE SIMPLE COMPASS
You can know the approximate direction by using the rotating bezel or the
internal rotating ring and the hour hand.
In the figure, the internal rotating ring is marked with the mark of a direction.
When using the simple compass, be sure to set it to the time of your current
location. At lower latitudes, this function may not be useful, depending on
the season.
1 Put the watch on the level
place. Point the hour hand
in the direction of the sun.
2 The middle of the position
of the hour hand and the
position of "12:00" position
is "south".
In case 9 o'clock (Figure 1),
set the "S" on the directional
scale to the 10:30 position
on the dial.
3 A direction (7:30) that "E" of
the direction scale shows is
"the East".
