Before attaching the accessories, make sure that the
hammer is disconnected from the power supply. So-
metimes the chisel does not start moving even when
the engine is running, because the oil (Vaseline) solidi-

Note: If you use the tool at lower temperatures or after
prolonged inactivity, you should let it idle for a few mi-
nutes to warm up to operating temperature.

The tool is equipped with the SDS-MAX system
Carefully clean and lubricate the tool before inserting
it into the hammer drill.
Push the protective cover back and install the tool.

Make sure it is locked in place.
Tool removal (D)

tool.

For safety, use an electropneumatic hammer drill with

the desired position, then tighten the handle

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

! Before cleaning and maintenance, always unplug the
tool.
There are no serviceable parts in the tool.
Never use water or chemical cleaners to clean your
tools. Wipe it with a dry cloth.
Keep the motor fan grille clean.
If you see very little spark in the engine compartment,
the tool is OK. Increased sparking is a fault in the en-
gine.
- Never clean any part of the tool with a hard, sharp or
rough object.
Storage when not used for a long time
Do not store the tool in a place where the temperature
is high.
If possible, store the tool in a place with a constant
temperature and humidity.
Gear lubrication (F)
! Before using the tool, always make sure that there is
enough lubricant in the gear unit.
Check the lubricant level at least every 5 hours of op-
eration.
Using the Allen key (10) provided, open the gear unit
by removing the lubrication hole cover (8).
If necessary, top up the lubricant - supplied with the
product (9), or identical. Use grease for bearings or
gears, eg NH3. Do not use graphite grease!
