WARNING:

This device does not provide Ignition Protection. Avoid serious injury or death or
explosion. Do not install in compartments containing gasoline fueled engines or
gasoline tank, or in areas where ignition protected equipment is required.

Do not mount Handy Power X above or below your batteries.
•
Electrical shock and fire hazards. We recommend all wiring be done by qualified
personnel. Disconnect all AC and DC power sources to prevent accidental shock.
Disable and secure all AC and DC disconnect devices and automatic generator starting
devices. It is the installer's responsibility to ensure compliance with all the applicable
installation codes and regulations. NOTE: Make sure DC cables are hooked up correctly
onto the battery terminals: Positive (+) to Positive (+) and Negative (-) to Negative (-).
•
Always make sure Handy Power X is located on a flat horizontal surface. It
already comes assembled and is not recommended to take out of the bag.
•
Fire Hazard: Do not cover or obstruct the ventilation openings. Do not install this
equipment in a compartment with limited airflow; Overheating may result.
•
Risk of Fire or Explosion: This equipment contains Components that could
produce arcs or sparks. To reduce the risk of fire or explosion, do not install
this equipment in compartments containing batteries, flammable materials
or fumes, or in a location containing gasoline-powered machinery, or joints,
fittings, or other connections between components of the fuel system.
•
Always make sure DC cables are connected to clamps and wing nuts are tightly connected
to the terminals. Make sure there are no rips or tears on cables - If so, replace immediately.
•
Keep Children away from the inverter and its components! The same
potentially hazardous or lethal AC power that is found in a normal
household 110V/220V AC power outlet can be found in the inverter.
•
This appliance is not intended for use by young children or
the cognitively challenged without supervision.
•
Low Voltage - Electrical burn and spark hazard. Disconnect battery power before servicing.
•
Restrictions on Use. Handy Power X shall not be used in connection with
life support systems or other medical equipment or devices.
•
If a long detachable power-supply cord or extension cord is used: 1) The marked electrical
rating of the cord or extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of
the appliance; 2) If the appliance is of the grounded type, the extension cord should be
a grounding 3-wire cord; and 3) The longer cord should be arranged so that it does not
drape over top where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over unintentionally.
