Assemble the handle using the pin provided.

When the jack leaves the factory the vent plug on the oil chamber is closed to prevent leakage ( 2 T model) -
before fi rst using you should remove the cover plate, unscrew the vent plug untill there is a 2 mm gap. If there
is any evidence of oil leakage or shortage check the oil level before pumping (see below).
With the release valve open pump the handle six times to ensure complete distribution of oil.
Close the release valve and the jack is ready for use.

Wanneer de krik de fabriek verlaat, is het olieventiel van de oliekamer gesloten om lekkage te voorkomen(
2Tmodel) - alvorens te gebruiken, verwijder de beschermplaat, schroef het olieventiel los tot een gat van 2
mm ontstaat. Indien er een bewijs is van olielekkage of tekort controleer het oliepeil alvorens te pompen (zie
verder). Met een open retourventiel 6 maal pompen om een complete verdeling van de olie te garanderen
Sluit het retourventiel en de cric is klaar voor gebruik.

Si le cric quitte l'usine, la soupape d'huile de la chambre est fermée pour éviter des fuites (modèle 2 T) - avant
de l'utiliser, enlevez la tôle de protection, dévissez la soupape de l'huile jusqu'à une distance de 2 mm. S'il y a
une preuve des fuites ou un manque, contrôlez le niveau de l'huile avant de pomper (voyez plus loin). Pomper
6 fois avec une soupape de retour ouverte pour garantir une distribution d'huile complète
Fermez la soupape de retour et le cric est près à l'utiliser.

Cuando el gato sale de fábrica, el tapón respiradero del compartimento de aceite está cerrado para prevenir
que se salga (modelo de 2 toneladas). Antes del primer uso, debe retirar la tapa de chapa y desenroscar el
tapón respiradero hasta que haya un espacio de 2 mm. Si hay alguna evidencia de fuga o escasez de aceite,

When not in use the lifting arm and pump lever should be fully in the down position. Regularly check the oil
level. Place the jack on an even level surface. Open the release valve. The correct oil level is at the bottom
of the thread inside the oil chamber when the lifting arm is at it's fully down position. If lacking oil, remove the
vent plug located under the cover, fi ll with good quality blended jack oil (SAE10) to the correct level, replace
and tighten the vent plug.
Raise the lifting arm up to it's full height and then open the release valve; step on to the saddle and force the
lifting arm down as rapidly as possible. Repeat three to four times to ensure complete distribution of the oil.
Close the release valve tightly and check that the jack works correctly under load.
Keep the jack clean, dry and ensure all moving parts are well lubricated using a light oil, lubricate the handle
socket and lifting arm with a suitable grease. Grease the lift arm pivot using the grease nipple provided.
Should any part require replacement through normal use contact your Metalworks stockist for spare parts.
Before use check the jack for any signs of missing parts, cracking, damage or distortion - do not use if any
damage is found. Do not modify this product in any way.
