PRECAUTIONS
For AC operation, check that the unit's operating voltage is identical with your local
power supply see (specifications) and use the supplied AC power cord: Do Not use
any other type. For the battery operation, operate the unit only on 4.5V DC using three
D batteries.
The nameplate indication operating voltage, power consumption etc. is located on the
rear exterior.
Disconnect the AC power cord from the wall outlet when it is not in use for an extended
period of time.
This unit is not disconnected from the AC power source (mains) as long as it is connected
to the wall outlet, even if the unit itself has been turned off.
When the internal batteries are not to be used, remove them to avoid damage caused by
the battery leakage and corrosion.
Do Not leave the unit in a location near heat sources, or in a place subject to direct sunlight
and excessive dust. Mechanical vibration or shock.
Should any solid object or liquid fall into the unit, unplug the unit and remove the batteries,
and have the unit checked by qualified personnel before operating it any further.
