System Description
Radial fan
Dustcontrol's fans are so called radial fans. The air
is introduced into the fan at the centre of the fan
wheel and is forced to the fan housing and through
the outlet by the centrifugal force.

Dimensions:
The capacity curves have been measured and
are stated empirically. Outlet pressure losses
from a normal outlet (silencer, back-fl ow valve/
bend) have been accounted for in the curve. Ad-
ditional equipment such as a diffuser can result in
increased pressure loss and must be taken into
consideration.
Stated air-fl ows are for standard air(101.3 kPa@
20o C).
The stated curves are for negative application,
all pressures stated are assumed to be below
relative atmospheric pressure at sea level. These
devices can also be used for positive pressure
application and will generate a greater pressure
differential.
Direct driven
The fans are direct driven.
Silencing
The fan is equipped with vibration isolators and
high quality sound insulation. External inline silen-
cing on the outlet can be installed as required.
