The tension plate inside the pipe be-
hind the toggle screw g must be
pushed into the notch i of the plastic
inserts (see Figure E).
2. Insert shade pole and tighten the tog-
gle screw g (see Figure F).

1. Place the shade stand in the desired
location directly on the balcony railing
(see Figure G).
2. Make sure the Velcro strip j, which is
included in the delivery, is wound tight-
ly around the pole and balcony fence.
This is the only way to ensure that the
sun shade has sufficient hold.
Changing the location
Prerequisite: There is no sun shade in the
stand.
1. Remove the telescoping handle k (see
Figure H).
2. Lift the socket slightly and pull it on the
wheels to the desired location (see Fig-
ure H).
3. Set down the socket and push the tel-
escoping handle k in.
4. Re-mount the shade pole as described
in the section "Mounting the sunshade
pole".

Care + Storage

The granite socket requires no mainte-
nance. You can remove any dirt with a
small amount of warm soapy solution.
Do not use any aggressive chemical clean-
ers or liquids, solutions, abrasive sub-
stances or objects, bleaches, high-pres-
sure cleaners and strong cleaning agents.
Check all screw connections (wheels,
handle) regularly for secure placement
and tighten them if necessary.
When not in use, stow the granite socket
with the rolling system in a dry area e.g.
over winter.

Warranty
The warranty period for this product
amounts to 24 months.
Should you identify a defect during this
time, please contact your vendor. To ena-
ble us to help you as quickly as possible,
please retain the sales receipt and tell us
the model name and item number.
Granite is a natural product whose colour
may vary and whose surface may exhib-
it irregularities.
Differences in the structure and colour be-
tween the parts of a delivery or compared
to other granite slabs from the same ma-
terial are reserved to the extent they are
attributed to the nature of the materials
used and customary in the trade.
Such circumstances do not constitute de-
fects and do not entitle customers to as-
sert warranty claims.
The warranty does not cover the follow-
ing:
– Changes and/or weathering of the sur-
face. This is normal wear and cannot
be prevented or reduced.
– Damages due to improper use (e.g.
commercial use).
– Damages due to structural changes to
the product.
