Unpacking
WHAT'S IN THE BOX?
These items ship with the sweeper:
• Sweeper head
• Drive tube
• Original Instruction Manual
After removing the sweeper from the box, inspect
it carefully to ensure no damage has occurred
during shipping and that no parts are missing If
any parts are damaged or missing, do not use the
sweeper Contact Oregon® Cordless Tool System
at 888 313 8665 to obtain replacement parts or
contact your local dealer
Assembly
WARNING: A battery operated tool
with the battery pack inserted can start
accidentally. Remove the battery pack before
assembling or performing maintenance.
ATTACHING THE DRIVE TUBE TO
THE SWEEPER HEAD (FIG. A)
• Turn the sweeper head over to access the
threaded torx screw hole
• Remove the torx screw (1) and two attachment
screws (2) from the sweeper head
• Insert the drive tube (3) into the sweeper head
aligning the hole in the drive tube to the torx
screw hole NOTE: The coupler will be on the left
side of the drive tube
• Insert and tighten the torx screw
• Insert and tighten the two attachment screws
• Flip the sweeper head over to attach to the
powerhead

WARNING: This powerhead is designed
to be used only with the Oregon attachment
models that are specified in this Original
Instruction Manual. Use of other attachments
could cause serious personal injuries or
property damage.
This powerhead may be used with only Oregon
Multi-attachments
The attachment connects to the powerhead with a
coupler device
• Stop the motor and remove the battery pack
• Loosen the knob of the coupler on the
powerhead tube and remove the end cap from
the attachment
• Press the button located on the attachment
shaft Align the button with the guide recess on
the powerhead coupler and slide the attachment
shaft into the powerhead Rotate the attachment
shaft until the button locks into position
NOTE: If the button does not release completely
in the positioning hole, the shafts are not locked
into place Slightly rotate from side to side until
the button is locked
• Tighten the knob securely
WARNING: Make certain the device is fully
tightened before operating equipment; check
it periodically for tightness during use to
avoid serious personal injury.
REMOVING THE ATTACHMENT
FROM THE POWERHEAD
• Stop the motor, remove the battery pack, and
engage the transportation lock-out
• Loosen the knob
• Push in the button and twist the shafts to
remove and separate the shaft
