IMPORTANT
• PLEASE CLEAN THE HEATING ELEMENT REGULARLY, IN
ORDER TO KEEP ITS SERVICE LIFE.
• Unplug the unit from mains supply before cleaning.
• The Base Unit must not be immerse in water.
• Do not use abrasive materials or chemicals on any part of
the steriliser.
• Do not use proprietary kettle descalers to clean the hea-
ting element.
CLEANING OF THE BASE HEATING ELEMENT:
• LIMESCALE BUILT UP MAY AFFECT THE FUNCATION AND
PERFORMANCE OF THE STERILISER.
The heating element should be wiped cleanly of any deposits
left by the water as soon as they are visible. Scale residues can
be removed with a solution of 50ml white vinegar in the hea-
ting unit and keep up 30 minutes. Assemble parts as normal
and complete a full sterilisation cycle (WITHOUT BOTTLES).
Follow this with two further cycles using fresh water to rinse.
Wipe the heating unit with damp cloth.
• DO NOT IMMERSE THE BASE UNIT IN WATER.
CLEANING OF THE MAIN BODY AND BOTTLE CONTAINER:
After unplugging the unit from mains supply, the body can be
wiped down with a soft, damp, non-abrasive cloth. Bottle con-
tainer, accessory holder and lid can be washed in warm soapy
water and thoroughly rinse in clear water.
